RISD Anti-Racism Coalition (risdARC) is dedicated to combating our institution’s prolonged history of anti-Blackness, marginalization, and discrimination along with the intersections of global systems of oppression affecting our community. Hello Jada & Sarah,

Thank you for your call to action. The incomprehensible indifference for Black lives in America has unequivocally shed light on the systemic racism that impacts the health, safety, education, housing and employment of all BIPOC.  Dismantling racism at RISD is essential.

Attached is our response to the RISD & Race listening forum, and Glass students Bee Mitchell and Arielle Eisen's letter on behalf of our BIPOC Glass students. We look forward to more dialogue and getting to work.
